Sunday, April 24, 2005:
Our first day at sea was exactly that -- a day at sea.  It was the perfect way to ease into our vacation.  Sitting on deck we could feel our tensions and stressors melting away under the hot carribbean sun.  A cocktail or two might have helped as well ;)  Our "Carnival Capers" told us that it would be a formal night at dinnertime, so we did our best to soak up some sun so we'd look our very best in time to dress for the Captains Cocktail Party.

On formal night, there was a Captain's Cocktail Party in the Hollywood Dance Club.  Looking more glamorous than all of Hollywood on the red carpet, the family gathered for formal pictures before heading there to enjoy appetizers, beverages, and dancing.  Then it was time for a scrumptious dinner served up in the Paris Dining Room.
